Los Angeles Clippers Stage Silent Protest After Owner's Alleged Racist Remarks

There wasn’t a lot of team pride among the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.


In the wake of racist remarks allegedly made by team owner Donald Sterling, the players took off their official warm-up shirts ahead of their playoff game against the Golden State Warriors, and left them in a pile in center court. During the pre-game warm-up, they instead wore red shirts that had been turned inside out so as not to display the team logo. For the game itself, team members wore black arm bands, wrist bands and socks.
