The Evil Queen is — wait for it — evil. It’s in her name. It’s in her nature. She’s proven it time and again on Once Upon a Time, and yet her portrayer Lana Parrilla insists there’s good in there somewhere. Sunday’s midseason finale will put that theory to the test.
Is speed the new suspense on TV?
As Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) race to secure passage through the portal back to Storybrooke, Regina and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) will do everything in their power to keep the ultimate evil queen Cora (Barbara Hershey) from coming through — even if that means putting Emma and Snow’s lives in danger. Unfortunately, that seems to go against Regina’s attempts to gain Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) trust, which creates the conundrum she’ll face on Sunday’s episode (8/7c, ABC). To get the scoop on how she’ll deal, TVGuide.com turned to Parrilla:
