Private Practice closed out its six-year run with its highest numbers since October.
The series finale drew 5.2 million viewers and a 1.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 25 percent from last week. Lead-in The Taste averaged 6 million viewers and a 2.2 for its series premiere, helping ABC to a win. The Taste was the night’s top-rated program and was a tenth higher than Dancing with the Stars‘ premiere in the slot last season.
