Costa Rica staged a stunning victory during Friday’s World Cup games, beating Italy and causing England’s elimination.

The Ticos won the game 1-0 with Bryan Ruiz scoring in the first half. The goal also all but sealed England’s fate after the Brits lost both of their opening games and needed an Italy win to keep their hopes alive. Regardless, England and Costa Rica face off on Tuesday.

In Group E, Ecuador came from behind to beat Honduras 2-1. In the 65th minute, Enner Valencia scored his second goal, leading his team to victory. Ecuador faces France next.
